General Summary:

The chosen candidate will be completing an ongoing hands on comprehensive training over 12 to 24 months that will provide you with the skills necessary to manage people, operations and productivity designed to provide the skills necessary to manage people as well as branch operations. The training will take place in a selected branch with a dedicated mentor and once the program has been successfully completed, the trainee will be expected to compete in an open application process for an available Branch Manager position within Canada.

 

Job description:      

▪Developing and selling personal loans, mortgages, and offering value added payment protection products
▪Making credit decisions within credit authority
▪Recommending solutions to difficult delinquent accounts
▪Working with account problems
▪Servicing accounts
▪Performing administrative tasks (i.e., answering telephones, cash control management and other related duties)
▪Assisting the branch manager in business development, branch administration, Coaching/supporting/oversight of junior staff, External business development (retailers, referrals)
▪Completing training as assigned which includes but is not limited to:

▪Assignments which includes the development, implementation and accountability for results for various Operational areas (i.e – New customer development, Delinquency, Home Equity production, Insurance sales, etc.)
▪Engage and involve other team members in the execution of operational assignments, ensuring clear expectations are set, support provided to achieve expectations and corrective action applied as needed.
