Job Description

Provide administrative, clerical and facility support. Co-ordinates and completes Payment Processing, Foreclosure in Process & Real Estate Owned accounts, Account Write-downs, Accounts Payables/Budget Control, Mail/Couriers, Process Returned Items, prepare various letters and correspondence to Branches and Customers.  Prepare reports for the Administration Management Team and customer service calls.

Responsibilities will include:

▪Payment Processing which includes REO sale proceeds,  Payouts, Payments, Legal garnishee Payments as it relates to Foreclosure accounts
▪Process all Foreclosure and REO – Putting the accounts into FIP or REO status
▪Issuing monthly payments cheques to all first mortgage holders for REO accounts
▪Maintain REO logs – Funds received
▪Insurance Payments, Death Claims
▪Bankruptcy Payment Processing – dividend payments not processed thru D&H
▪Overage letters, NSF letters and other correspondence to customers
▪All outgoing mail including Couriers
▪Processing write-downs on FIP, REO as required throughout the foreclosure process
▪Charge-off transactions for total portfolio
▪Returned items transactions
▪Preparation, analysis and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reports
▪Control of Monthly Expense Budget reporting
▪Account Payables/Invoice review and payment, - FIP/REO servicing – (i.e. utilities, maintenance, etc.)
▪Account Payable coding and account notation
▪Customer Service Calls
▪Prepare Interest and Discharge letters

Job Qualifications

▪Bilingual English/French required

▪Working Knowledge of Real Estate Mortgage loans

▪2-3 years direct related work experience in the Financial Services industry performing similar functions with Administration duties, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and customer service

▪Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions

▪Be able to function in a fast paced environment and work independently

▪Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
