Fairstone is looking for a seasoned digital marketing expert to lead our digital marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team dedicated to driving new customer acquisition, increasing current customer retention, and improving the customer experience across multiple digital channels. The successful candidate will also be an analytical thinker motivated to drive modernization and innovation.

Reporting directly to the CMO, this role has the following responsibilities:

▪Manage the digital marketing team, consisting of: acquisition lead, CMS/web content lead, social media lead, and digital projects lead; responsibilities include planning, budgeting, staffing, and short-term resource allocation
▪Lead overall digital marketing strategy and develop plans focused on new customer acquisition, current customer retention, and work collaboratively with the Digital Office on the customer experience
▪Partner with the Digital Office to create acquisition based strategies to drive new customer acquisitions
▪Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption
▪Oversee and provide leadership for direct reporting staff handling digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, programmatic, social media, social advertising, affiliates, etc.
▪Develop marketing automation targeting strategy
▪Independently plan and implement internet marketing programs or projects that support marketing objectives for volume, revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction
▪Manage external agency partners regarding campaign or platform requirements, creative specifications, artwork and artwork preparation, schedules, delivery dates, and 24/7 site support
▪Manage the tracking, reporting, and interpretation of program metrics to assess and improve channel performance against goals (ROI and KPIs)
▪Work collaboratively with the Digital Office to prioritize projects and initiatives that drive value
▪Responsible for vendors’ compliance, campaign performance and quality
▪Direct management of corporate websites and customer self-service site

Job Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

▪5+ years of experience in online marketing, project management, website content management, and site usability
▪5+ years of digital marketing and/or ecommerce management experience
▪Bachelor degree; Master’s degree preferred
▪Marketing background with previous management experience and leadership skills
▪Ability to propose solutions to complex and unique challenges and execute to completion
▪Extensive experience with sizing new business opportunities, assessing customer impacts, and making new recommendations
▪Experience with effectively partnering on large scale project teams and driving tasks to completion
▪Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints
▪Ability to rapidly assimilate new ideas and be able to communicate effectively with various IT teams
▪Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking to drive business insights
▪Advanced knowledge of web analytics tool (e.g. Google Analytics)
▪Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software (Salesforce) to generate and nurture visitors into leads
▪Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
▪Knowledge and experience in Google AdWords and Bing Ads
▪Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
▪Proven ability to effectively work with team members, business users and technical staff
▪Presentation skills required with abilities to successfully influence and drive direction to accomplish department goals
▪Financial services industry background an asset
